Southtown Aldea

The project defines a dense south edge to the urban core of San Antonio and re-establishes a series of pedestrian routes between the city and historic neighborhoods beyond. Within, three small plazas anchor the shopping and dining experience at the ground level to the residential realm above. The architecture of the compound is rooted in the district’s materials and forms.
